Our Huck is doing well

Nick Fondulis, who will be reprising the role of Huck Finn in the upcoming reading on August 22 has been getting some nice notices for his current Fringe show The Boy in the Basement.

Backstage sez: Narrator Nick Fondulis knows just how to set the mood.

And NYTheatre.com sez: Nick Fondulis shows great range as the ghost writer, Catherine DuCheval. Off to the side, writing at a small table with a quill pen, he announces each scene as a chapter. Fondulis, with excellent timing and vocal variety, is alternately pensive, suggestive, energized, and physically passionate as he unfolds his plot.

Talk Entertainment says: "The high point of the show is the lingering kiss between Anna (the virgin) and Lance (the hunk) which seemingly goes on forever while the author describes it in every way possible. It is an aria – delivered to perfection by Nick Fondulis."

And he's all ours August 22.
