STAGE DIVING

by N. G. McClernan

Stephanie's Mom has come along to a Sleater-Kinney concert with her, which is bad enough, but then Mom wants to relive the Clash's 1980 London Calling tour by diving off the stage.

Videos

The role of "Mom" was played by Starra Andrews for the Ciona Taylor production. When she had to drop out due to family illness, Valerie David took over the role for the Gene Frankel/Groove Mama production. Clips from both shows are available here.
